Francisca Ifeoma Igboanugo is a Partner in our Corporate Services & Data Protection Practice Group and the Health & Pharmaceutical Sector Team at Stren & Blan Partners. She is a versatile, results-driven commercial lawyer, a Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), a Chartered Secretary and Administrator of Nigeria (ICSAN), and a sponsored individual registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She advises on company secretarial practice, regulatory compliance, data protection, capital markets, private equity, and mergers & acquisitions, delivering strategic and practical solutions that align regulatory obligations with clients’ business objectives.

Francisca has acted for financial institutions, insurance companies, fintechs, healthcare and pharmaceutical entities, and multinational corporates on complex compliance and transactional mandates involving CAMA 2020, CBN regulations, the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025. Her representative experience includes leading data protection compliance for C. Woermann Nigeria; advising Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) on governance and regulatory filings; supporting the administration and debt restructuring of an oil servicing company and a real estate company with obligations exceeding USD 36 million; and approximately USD 1 million, respectively. She has also acted on bond issuances, sukuk offerings, mutual funds, corporate restructuring transactions, and routinely provides governance and company secretarial support to corporates and NGOs.
